QUESTION: Are you aware that your nervous system is a friend?

STORY: The nervous system of our body runs from our head to our toes and it is a truly amazing friend that can help us WAKE UP to our True Self which is Soul, Consciousness. Typically we grow up believing ourselves to be less than whole; tall or short; good or bad; bright or dumb; strong or weak and lots more. This is our little ego self. However, it is important to know that our True Self is always here NOW back and behind our ego self. The ancient practice of Self Observation helps us connect with our True Self by simply paying attention to our bodily sensations. For example, when we feel a tightness in our tummy or our shoulders or jaw or wherever, instead of falling into the old habit of worrying, fretting, going over past problems and being run by old beliefs - we simply observe our body without judgment. As we do this we enter into a sacred space of being present in the present moment of NOW. This simple act connects me with my True Self and frees me from my ego addiction of fixing, blaming, denying and judging. Learn more: https://www.drawingtogether.com/workchamber
