A Memorial will be held for Suzanne Deakins, H.W., M. It will consist of all of us sharing our memories of Suzanne with each other.

It overwhelms me to think of Suzanne’s life, the stages of it, all she went through, all she became. We became close friends and if we weren’t actively in each other’s life, we stayed in touch through the years. In all that time, she never crossed a line with me—not once…until Portland last year, when I was flown up to help her get around. Can I say, “She was not in agreement with what was happening to her, her health issues; and there was no doubt left in anyone’s mind about that!” LOL. What I saw in Portland was the blustering of a strong, dynamically active, powerful, mother-of-so-many roaring she would not go gentle into that good night—Mrs. Captain America taking her last shot at what does not belong!
