Addicted

ADDICTED = dependent; exhibiting a compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity

QUESTION: What are you addicted to?

STORY: Two weeks ago I stopped drinking coffee - after probably 50 years of drinking coffee every morning. While I don’t feel different - my digestive issue has improved. When I was 33 years old I stopped smoking - and it took a month of deep dialogue with my Inner Self.

Today when I get in my car and drive down a city street anywhere, I see young people walking and looking at their iPhone. They appear to be captured by the machine - and dependent upon the constant stimulation of texts, emails, advertising. Today it seems to me that we all are kinda addicted to looking at our computers and phones several times every day.

Well, this week I decided to choose one day a week to completely turn off all digital devices. I will use this one day every week to paint, create, focus on nature and open up to guidance of my Higher True Identity as SOUL, Consciousness.
