Excerpt from First Corrinthians 13

Being suffereth long,

To suffereth long is to do nothing. It is telling us it is not our job to set the world straight. We are not in charge. Stop telling people what is wrong with them according to our view.

and is kind;

Being does not strike back. If attacked, speak from vulnerability if you speak at all, and that is always kind.

Being envieth not;

Envy means to crave something we don’t have, normally something that belongs to another. But in this case, it means to desire to be anything other than who, what and where we are.

Being vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Being is humble, vulnerable,

Doth not behave itself unseemly,

Challenging people, taking our angst out on others is to behave unseemly.

Seeketh not her own,

Does not try to change people in our name, in our image, according to what we think is wrong with them. In fact, it’s not our job to change people at all. Consciousness does not need any help.

Is not easily provoked,

Being is not moody, does not arm for battle, is not enslaved to an identity.

Thinketh no evil:

To think people are less than whole is thinking evil.

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Being is not titillated by negativity. Being is not quick to believe gossip. Never believes some problem is without an answer. Being comes alive with inspiration, not winning.

Beareth all things

Does nothing—remains true, steady, eternal

Believeth all things,

 Has an open heart.

Hopeth all things,

 Cannot be daunted.

Endureth all things.

 Stand in the freedom of a steady heart for all eternity.
