QUESTION: Are you overwhelmed with the world today?

STORY: I worked for a few years as a 9th grade Art teacher at a school for kids that were identified as “unlikely to graduate from high school”. When the school closed, I was transferred to a middle school that also had lots of kids with troubling issues. Then, the principal at this new school got in a physical fight with one of the kids and he was fired. I felt overwhelmed and thankfully a new principal came on board and created valuable changes. The world around us is constantly changing while the world within us (Essential Self) is changeless. It is very important for each person to be curious and to develop a personal practice of centering and reconnecting with our Essential Self - our Soul. My One Minute Exercise can help: Stop. Relax and center yourself. Listen and FEEL your Heart’s guidance.
