Seek
SEEK = to go in search or quest of; to try to discover; to ask for; to make an attempt
QUESTION: What are you seeking?
STORY: I did this self portrait drawing in June 1968 at the end of my junior year in college. I was seeking answers to questions like: What is the purpose of the Vietnam War? Why do white people look down on black people? I wondered about the hippies and I got curious about marijuana. Finally, I decided to take a leave of absence from college and I flew to San Francisco to explore the Hippies. I knew no one - and yet found a safe place to live for six months (201 Buchanan Street just off Haight St.) I explored cannabis, peyote, LSD, hashish, mescaline. I did not touch downers or speed. In December I returned to Wisconsin to stand up for my friend Barbara’s wedding. I knew with certainty that there is far more here to be aware of in life - than what we are told by parents, newspapers, teachers, friends! I asked myself: WHO AM I? Well, I know now that we all must wake up to our SOUL self - our Higher Consciousness. Releasing the Hidden Splendour™ is a 5 step tool where you use your emotions to wake up.
