Skill
SKILL = the ability to use one's knowledge effectively and readily in execution or performance; a learned power of doing something competently
QUESTION: What skill are you willing to learn?
STORY: You and me and every human being is born with one or more unique talents. To draw a talent out into expression requires lots of learning - plus a vigorous curiosity and a willingness to listen to a teacher or one who is skilled in this talent. In this imaginative and funny drawing, you see a big breasted woman standing in front of a large cave. She appears to be calling a young middle school age girl to come to class while the young girl is either resisting the call or she is feeling unworthy of developing her talent. The most valuable skills I have developed in my life are: typing, lap swimming, syllogistic reasoning and drawing. Is there a talent in you that is calling you to learn how to express it? Is there something in you that is resisting learning a skill? I am still learning the skill of Self Observation and I look forward to sharing with you my struggles with this at The Prosperos Assembly in September. Learn more and register!
