What is the Aries-Libra Moonwobble cycle is and why is it important?
Calvin Harris, H.W., M, is offering adjunct / supplementary workshop materials through fall 2023, to engage you in fun-filled participatory workshop experiences. In February - The Tempest.
Stage play, and movies have given us many versions of the story of The Tempest. Within our cultural history over the centuries we have gotten varied interpretations.
Some of Shakespeare’s fundamental themes from this play have gotten lost, and this workshop and our subsequent discussion are ways we can take a fun, deeper dive into the material - to have you come away with a personal connection to the material and perhaps the writer himself; to introduce ideas about the themes that you may not have thought about before. We’ll discuss the archetypal understanding of the play’s characters, represented as three areas of Mind. The unconscious, the conscious, and what can be called the supra-conscious areas of the mind that are played out by the characters Caliban, Prospero, and Ariel. Shakespeare seems to present us with much to discuss – magic, self-deception, betrayal, sex, revenge, forced colonization; as well as give-for, redemption, and love . . . and oh - some weather.
You will need to come with pen and paper.
You will be asked to participate in the discussion portion of the workshop.

Rarely presented, the Crown Mysteries articulates the mode of Being in which we are enabled to create “a new heaven and a new earth.” This moment in our cultural life cries out to be understood and to be transcended, and the Crown Mysteries provides a key.
Are you interested in moving beyond old patterns, old habits, old fears and moving forward into a greater understanding of True Self? The Ontology Book Club is a group of people that love to explore the deeper part of life. We choose books that help us study our very BEING.
ONTOLOGY IS THE STUDY OF BEING. “Beingness” is the formless part of us that is always present within us back and behind the world of physical objects, trees, bodies, things. It is the intelligence of LIFE. While the physical world thoroughly captures our attention, we can also learn to PAUSE and become aware of just being aware.
"Knowing others is wisdom. Knowing the self is enlightenment." (Lao Tsu, sutra 33 Tao Te Ching)
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.” (Jesus in The Gnostic Gospels)

10 Saturdays in the summer of 2021 beginning June 5 through August 7
The Teaching
(a poem by Red Hawk in the book The Way of Power)
It is as old as the stones.
It came with humans to the Earth
And it offers them a way out
Of the web of sorrows
But at a price.
We must observe ourselves,
our behavior, our
inner and outer responses,
objectively. This means
without taking a personal interest
or doing anything about
the horror
which self observation uncovers:
Like a bad boy with a stick
Overturning a stone
And finding a mass of crawling things
Beneath, but
He refrains
From stomping on them.

What is Ontology? It is the science or “study” of Beingness. Interestingly, “Beingness” is the formless part of us that is always present within us back and behind the world of physical objects, trees, bodies, things. It is the intelligence of LIFE. While the physical world thoroughly captures our attention, we can also learn to PAUSE and become aware of just being aware.

The Teaching
(a poem by Red Hawk in the book The Way of Power)
It is as old as the stones.
It came with humans to the Earth
And it offers them a way out
Of the web of sorrows
But at a price.
We must observe ourselves,
our behavior, our
inner and outer responses,
objectively. This means
without taking a personal interest
or doing anything about
the horror
which self observation uncovers:
Like a bad boy with a stick
Overturning a stone
And finding a mass of crawling things
Beneath, but
He refrains
From stomping on them.
