Exercise

EXERCISE = the act of bringing into play or realizing in action; regular or repeated use of a faculty or bodily organ; something performed or practiced in order to develop, improve, or display a specific capability or skill

QUESTION: In what ways do you exercise?

STORY: My mother guided me to stand tall with a good posture. My father guided me to think for myself. My life journey has been and continues to be a long road with many different bends, curves, inclines and sometimes even dangerous descents. To travel safely along these roads it is essential for me to exercise my body and mind. I think this is true for all people. In physical exercise, I take a walk, ride a bike, and hopefully I’ll get back to swimming laps. For mental exercise, people do a crossword puzzle, learn a new language, write a poem or a story, or create something new. I am getting back to oil painting - the mental exercise of oil paint techniques is truly moving me. For spiritual exercise, people meditate, read the Bible or an inspirational book. I invoke the Highest Consciousness to guide my thoughts, my emotions, my feet, my words, my actions. In what ways do you exercise?
