Habit

HABIT = a settled tendency; usual manner of behavior; an acquired behavior that has become involuntary or unconscious; addiction; a costume; to cover with.

QUESTION: What is one of your habits?

STORY: Throughout my life I have observed myself refrain from moving forward in some way, because of a habitual belief that I repeatedly heard: “I do not know enough” or “I’m not good enough”. It is an emotional, judgmental false belief that I’ve carried like a heavy box on my head preventing me from seeing clearly. The truth is that nobody knows everything and no one is perfect. We all are addicted to a variety of habits. We all are buried under habitual, reactive, egotistical habits. We all have to do some WORK to free ourselves from our addictions! The Prosperos tools of Translation® and RHS™ have helped me dissolve some of my habits. Unconditionally loving myself has also helped me to free myself from false habits. Now I am practicing learning how to Observe myself without judgment! This is an essential part of the WORK. Higher centers are always at work in the body, but their influence is drowned out by the noise of the lower mind’s continuous, habitual chatter. EXERCISE

STOP.

Sit quietly. Assume an erect posture.

Sense the breath.

Relax.

Sit calmly and allow a habit of your own to come to mind. Just observe it without judgment.

Get your pen and paper and write words or draw lines expressing the Energy that is now flowing from your Higher centers through your body and dissolving the old habit.

Move forward into your day feeling healthy Energy moving you forward.
