This is You
You are a sweet, wonderful, brilliant, caring, generous, dependable, funny, creative human being. This is who you are. If we don’t feel like that, then we have work to do. And if we don’t feel like that, more than likely, it’s because of some identity that is so invasive, we’ve never even met, let alone gotten to know ourselves. I’m not talking about that crappy little, bottom-rung feeder self. Do you know how pure Consciousness feels in your daily life, operates in your daily life? What does it show you? Where does it take you? Have you discovered with it? Do you know what it feels like when it laughs, greets people, watches TV, hitchhikes down the road. Have you watched it stitch up some tear in your soul while you stand doing nothing, while you stand not striking back? Have you felt it’s tenderness almost break you in half? Have you felt it burst out crying over some friend who is relaying a particularly painful event in their life? Do you find yourself “not being you”? Have you felt it whispering, “This is you. I am you”.---In short: Have you watched it bring you back to sanity?
